Tough Glass process a large range of glass products suited for glass splashbacks. Being a local glass processor, we can custom make glass to size maximising on the aesthetics of your project with quick processing lead times. Customers of Tough Glass can obtain toughened glass certificates guaranteeing glass has been processed in accordance with Australian Standards.
Glass splashbacks can make a great statement in any kitchen, scullery, bathroom or feature wall. If you are looking for elegance and seamless lines, glass splashbacks can do this for you. With a wide range of colour selections available you are able to make a tailored selection. Once the glass has been cut to size and toughened it is then painted based on your colour selection.
Standard Glass – Flat or Metallic
- Standard glass contains iron which gives a green hue to glass products. This effect is highlighted when a light (white/light neutrals) paint selection is made for glass splashbacks. A standard glass selection is best combined when a darker splashback colour is in mind. You also have options of selecting flat colour paints or metallic/ sparkle paints.
Ultra Clear Glass – Flat or Metallic
- Ultra clear glass has an added process to remove the natural iron content in glass removing the green hue standard glass has. Ultra clear glass is usually required when a white/ light neutrals or a light toned paint selection is made for glass splashbacks. A flat colour is based around the paint selection, simply it is a flat colour and no metallics or sparkles are added to the paint mix.
Reflective Mirror
- Tough Glass offer a range of toned reflective mirror options. These glass selections are slightly darker than ordinary bathroom mirrors but are manufactured differently providing the ability to be toughened.
Regardless of the splashback finish you select, it is best to consult with a qualified glazier who can confidently measure and provide advice on selection and installation of glass and glazing whilst ensuring regulations are met and safety is not compromised.

May I just say that your staff at Tough Glass are providing us with excellent service. We have never in all the years experienced such a service. I rang on Wednesday to request a couple of urgent panels for which we collected this morning. That truly is amazing!!
Everybody should use Tough Glass and I would never use anyone else regardless of pricing like some do. I don’t think we have ever received a bad piece of glass from Tough Glass either. It’s a credit to you and your staff.
